Government Seminar: Roadmap and Performance Contract
The government refines its strategy for effective action in service of the Gabonese population.
T his Saturday, January 10, in Libreville, the Cabinet held its first government seminar to open the political year. Presided over by the Vice President of the Government, Hermann Immongault, and co-facilitated by the Secretary General of the Government, Abdu Razzaq Guy Kambogo, the meeting was attended by members of the executive and high-ranking administrative officials.
Themed "Performance, Probity, and Patriotism: Public Action in Service of Inclusive Growth and Development," this working session ran from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It brought together secretaries-general, directors-general, representatives from the Presidency, and support staff.
The proceedings served to: • Brief new ministers on the operational mechanisms of the executive branch. • Review key milestones from 2025, specifically the 2026 Finance Act. • Outline the 2026-2030 National Growth and Development Plan and the 2026 Government Action Plan. • Present priority projects structured around the six strategic pillars of the Head of State's social program and presidential measures.
The major guidelines for 2026 were established in accordance with the vision and instructions of the President of the Republic, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. The President has called for exemplary cohesion and the rigorous implementation of public action to meet the expectations of the Gabonese people.
