O n December 21, 2025, His Excellence Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, President of the Republic and Head of Government, conducted a targeted inspection of various construction sites in Oyem, Woleu-Ntem region. This visit, although conducted during a private stay, demonstrates direct involvement in supervising key projects intended to permanently transform the local socio-economic environment.

The infrastructure examined includes a next-generation hotel and a modern shopping center, both scheduled for completion soon. The amusement park currently under development—the first of its kind in the region—aims to enrich the local recreational offer and generate numerous direct and indirect employment opportunities. Furthermore, the President noted the progress of work on several roads and schools, which will ensure better connectivity and increased access to education for surrounding communities.
